How to press flowers properly

I have developed this method of pressing flowers  over decades of practice. It focuses on understanding moisture, timing, and respecting the unique structure of each flower so they retain their natural vibrant color, do not turn brown or mold and maintain a beautiful shape with smooth petals. My approach does not use heat, chemicals, color masking, or deconstruction. It relies on technique, patience, and skill.

This method has been taught to over 8,000 students worldwide.

What You’ll learn

Across my classes, in-person events and mentorship program, I teach the full pressed flower process, including:

  • How to press flowers so they don’t turn brown or mold

  • How to press difficult or thicker flowers without deconstruction

  • How timing and moisture affect color retention

  • How to properly handle and glue pressed flowers

  • How to approach pressed flower art making
