For the past 3 years, I've had the privilege of guiding over six thousand students around the world in the art of flower pressing. With over 35 years experience, I've honed and developed techniques that yield professional results that will instill in you the confidence to tackle even the most challenging projects.
But this mentorship is more than just about techniques. It's about diving deep into the artistic process and embracing a truly creative life. Let me share insights, tips, and philosophies that go beyond the technicalities and delve into the soul of creating art.

During our time together, you’ll work alongside other passionate artists from around the world and learn all of my signature techniques I’ve developed over the course of 3 decades. By the end of week 6, you’ll not only have a stunning composition and all the knowledge to continue to make beautiful creations, but a community of peers and friends to support you in your lifelong journey!
WHAT BLOOM STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY
FAQ’s
WHO IS BLOOM GREAT FOR? BLOOM is great for people who are have already begun their flower pressing journey. It is for people who have taken at least one of my two hour zoom classes (which are available on my site). Ideally you will have taken ONE of my “How to press flowers classes” (any season) and the recorded “How to glue botanicals” class. This mentorship is intended to help you become expert in the pure art of flower pressing, and to help you make beautiful things with what you press.
WHO IS BLOOM NOT GREAT FOR? BLOOM is not for those looking for business help, branding advice, product development and techniques like graphic design, pattern making or how to translate art into other mediums. I don’t offer that guidance at this time, but will consider an advanced mentorship in the future.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN BLOOM? You need a good flower press and access to flowers and botanicals. You will also need a stash of extra paper and extra cardboard circles or squares - whatever type fits your press. You will need to purchase a neutral ph glue, brushes, and paper.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A FLOWER PRESS? You can purchase one at a discounted rate from me. A code will be provided to anyone who signs up for 20% off my press (while supplies last). You can also make one DIY or buy online. You will need a press though, not a book, for this mentorship program.
WHEN WILL ZOOM CLASSES BE HELD? Zoom classes will be held Sundays at 1:00pm EST/10:00am PST/6:00pm BST.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND A ZOOM CLASS? All zoom classes will be recorded and shared so you can watch on your own time.
WILL I GET TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH TRICIA? Yes! During weekly office hours, you’ll have the option to join an open zoom room at your leisure to ask questions directly, get one on one help with projects, and share your process.
WHEN WILL OFFICE HOURS BE HELD? Office hours will vary on a weekly bases to accommodate students from all over the world.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND OFFICE HOURS? If you have questions and can’t attend office hours, you will be able to post your questions in a shared doc in advance so Tricia can answer live during the recorded office hour. You can also post your question in the Facebook group or send an email.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE FACEBOOK? It’s okay! You don’t have to participate in the Facebook group if you’re not on social media. All the information and assignments will be distributed in a weekly email. Facebook is to connect with other participants, share, get support, and celebrate. It’s not required to be part of the mentorship, but will be a big part of developing the community.
